She competed on various levels at college and school and then decided to become a television broadcaster. Taft has graduated from Boston University in broadcast journalism with a major in the reporting of sports and regional affiliation, began her career working at Fox Sports North. In addition to covering sports, she was also social media content creator and was a host for many games. The position was swiftly transferred onto Fox Sports 1 News and Highlights. Taft was a reporter for FS1 and covered numerous prestigious tournaments. In addition, she was an official sideline reporter for college football and was soon promoted to reporter for the college football team along with Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt.
